Forest Celebration on Europe Day

Europe day was celebrated on May 14 in Europe Square in the Central Park in Chisinau, Moldova. Agency "Moldsilva", Institute of Forest Research and Management and Agency “Antis Media” took part, presenting the FLEG II Program.

FLEG II continues School Forestry Program in Armenia

The first session of the new forestry program was conducted in Southern Armenia on March 11, 2016. About 30 pupils and teachers from four communities in Syunik region participated in the program, which aims to increase awareness and knowledge about forests.

A whole waterfall was destroyed in Chernivtsi Oblast of Ukraine to convert it into a road for transporting timber. This and many other urgent issues were raised in articles submitted for FLEG II forest journalism contest in Ukraine.
